The UK Space sector is expected to grow significantly in the next 5-10 years, through increases in UK Defense Space spend, new National Space programme, New Space, Export opportunities and ESA initiative. Dr Paul Bate (UKSA CEO) estimated that the Space sector will be worth £490bn by 2030, and that space will play a vital role in unlocking a greener, smarter economy.

This provides a fantastic opportunity for all UK Space companies to grow, but is there today a UK supply chain mature and prepared enough to grab all these opportunities?

In this "SSPI UK chapter" webinar, we have a frank conversation with key representative from Agency, Service Provider, Industry and SME to tackle the challenges of developing a mature UK supply chain for space sector: What could be the benefits of regulated Procurement? How to transform procurement into partnership & collaboration? How Covid impacts the Space industry landscape? What are the new challenges for the Supply Chain at the era of cyber threats and New Space?
